The latest official souvenir of the Royal Wedding was launched in Hamleys on the 7th April, the Princess Catherine doll. This limited edition ‘engagement’ doll is aimed at promoting British fashion and style, and a whole host of leading UK designers have collaborated to bring attention to British fashion.
The doll is fashioned to look like Kate Middleton, and even has her trademark fascinator, Eaton clutch bag and shoes. This Princess Catherine doll presents the best of British design, and highlights the detailing which goes into British styling. Keeping with tradition for such items, £1 from every doll sold will go the Help for Heroes charity. There is a touch of eccentricity to the Princess Catherine doll too, but such quirkiness is also a recognised British trait.
With only 10,000 dolls being produced; it’s predicted that the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll will be a must-buy for Royal Wedding collectors.

Designers Pussy Willow, of London, have created The Catherine Dress in keeping with their design philosophy of simple and elegant cuts that are sculpted to the body.
