Going to the chapel — er, official Royal Wedding website

All you readers suffering from a dearth of Royal Wedding news can breathe a sigh of relief: they’ve launched an official website!

The new site from Clarence House features official details about the event, videos from the Royal Channel on YouTube, and links to the Royal Wedding Twitter feed and Flickr account.

Rather than registering WillLovesKate.com, Clarence House chose the more sober www.officialroyalwedding2011.org.

So far, the site delivers tantalising tidbits such as, ‘The marriage of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton will take place at Westminster Abbey on Friday 29th April 2011,’ and ‘The Royal Wedding processional route will go past some of London’s most famous landmarks’ – not so thrilling.

Meet our new intern, Sarah

Allow us to introduce the newest member of the ELLEuk.com team, our intern Sarah.

Our brand new intern, and worthy winner of our hotly contested Win An Internship competition, started on Monday. Her name is Sarah, and she’s had quite the baptism of fire this week, starting as she did right in the middle of London Fashion Week. We haven’t scared her off though, so we thought we’d introduce her properly.

Sarah’s competition entry (which you can read here) caught our eye thanks to her great writing style.
